Yakamoz is the Turkish word for the moonlight’s reflection on water — a quiet shimmer even in total darkness. That image spoke to us. Just as the moonlight reflects on the sea, we wanted this café to reflect our culture and heritage here in Cardiff.

Even in the darkest times, there is always light. For us, this café began as a distant dream. Now, it’s a real place — where warmth, tradition, and community come together.
